The fashion world is gearing up for Spring and what better way to prepare for the hotter weather and sunshine filled days than with some sunglasses?
It looks like British singer Lily Allen and Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am both have the same idea as this week House of Holland launched their campaign featuring Lily, 29 modelling their quirky and colorful sunglasses whilst Will.I.Am went live with his long-awaited capsule collection of sunglasses in collaboration with Slick Rick…
The rebellious pop singer Lily is a long-time friend of Henry Holland so it made sense that the pair would team up to feature Lily in some bold House of Holland designs. Sporting a peachy-pink blonde bob, Lily was snapped in some vintage inspired frames, some quirky and colourful round specs and set of frames which were designed to look like lips. Lily said: ““I have been a friend of Henry’s and fan of HOH for years. I jumped at the chance to be involved with the campaign. I feel lucky to be able to continually collaborate with HOH for both my stage wear and life wear; they smash it like no one else can.”
Perfect for Lily’s eccentric style, we are looking forward to seeing more designs from HoH’s cartoon-esque collection.
Meanwhile on the other side of the pond, Will.I.Am have finally published their exclusive, limited edition sunglasses collection on the Ill.I Optics website. Featuring a mish-mash of vintage and contemporary unisex designs, the collection plays on the hip-hop aesthetics for what Will.I.Am himself has described ‘fresh, fly and classic eyewear’. Created in collaboration with both Slick Rick and designer Graz Mulcahy, the capsule collection is now fully launched and will retail at around $340.
