Not all of us have a personal stylist to steer us away from committing a fashion faux pas but here at B Sunglasses, at least we can make sure that you choose the right eyewear for your face shape.
A square face requires some thought when it comes to choosing shades as a broad forehead, wide cheekbones and strong jaw means that the wrong pair will make your features appear harsh. We recommend rounder shades to give more balance and soften any angles.
DO: Square faced celebs such as Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, David Beckham, Matt Damon, Mena Suvari and Demi Moore should opt for Aviator style frames which are rounded and wider at the brows. Clear frames and subtle colours such as nudes with mixed prints also work best as they are much less severe.
Women: Oversize oval shaped frames are a great choice for ladies such as these Dolce and Gabbana Cateye’s. However if you have more delicate petite features a pair of rounded Celine Preppy sunglasses
Men: For those with strong features, the bigger the better. Rectangular frames with soft edges also work well such a classic Clubmaster. Perhaps skimp on the detail as to not create a ‘heavy’ appearance.
DON’T: Choose harsh square shapes; try to keep angles as soft as possible.
