With the World Cup in full swing, the sun shining, and everyone jetting off on dreamy holidays, the feeling of summer euphoria is unmistakable. At B Sunglasses, we’ve spent the weekend exploring romantic Verona, as well as picking top summer sunglasses styles for your own getaways. Read on to hear all about it…

Last week, we jetted off to Verona for a weekend of culture, relaxation, and delicious Italian food. Verona is easy to get to, cheap, compact and simple to explore, and it’s right near the scenic Lake Garda. We couldn’t recommend it more for a weekend away. If Verona is catching your eye then read our latest Travel Tuesday blog to here about it’s amazing sights and all the yummy food (mainly the food). Over in Portugal, lifestyle blogger Louis Armstrong worked in partnership with B Sunglasses to create a new video presenting the top sunglasses styles for 2018 summer. Last year Louis’s blog LifeWithLouisbrought to you two videos detailing the top sunglasses and glasses picks for 2017. It was met with an amazing response and Louis has created an updated video to help you stay on trend again this year. For both men and women, we selected five top frames for summer as well as our two bestsellers to keep you on trend next year too.

This week, with the welcome of new Alexander McQueen eyewear, we’ve also delved into the new documentary McQueen that was released earlier this month. The fashion world, and the media in general, cannot stop talking about the film and its impact on fashion. Through archival footage of his shows and personal life, as well as interviews with his closest friends, family and collaborators, the film explores the legend and genius McQueen and all the myths surrounding him. Alexander McQueen’s life is one of the most fascinating but tragic stories from the fashion world. McQueen’s distinctive identity was outrageous, wild, sensitive, and completely authentic. His work both fascinated and disgusted. His life was both admired and sympathised. The must-see documentary pays tribute to this all.

In other news, tinted lenses are everywhere. London Fashion Week street style saw sunglasses with vibrantly coloured lenses everywhere. Tinted lenses are perfect for summer, with festivals, barbecues and lots of lively places to explore. No matter what colour you opt for, if the lenses are bright, you’ll stand out from the crowd. Victoria Beckham is just one of the many stars who’s having fun with fashion by opting for colourful lenses this season. Here’s some top choices from our site…
