Sports have taken over this week, with the Wimbledon Championships in full swing and England making the semi-finals of the World Cup. Plus, the unbelievable weather Britain is having has everyone enjoying their summer spent outdoors in their favourite sunnies.
This glorious weather is lasting an extraordinarily long time for Britain. Parks are flowered with people sunbathing, the beach is dotted with picnickers and swimmers, and every beer garden is full of life. Jetting off abroad can be expensive and with weather like this there’s no need to fly afar for some relaxation in the sun. Our latest Travel Tuesday blog suggests some great getaway ideas in Britain so you can get a fantastic summer holiday without the high costs of flying.
The sun has been burning down on the courts of Wimbledon too, making a tough environment for the players. The guests however are loving it and they’re all accessorising with bold sunglasses styles. Wimbledon is always one of the biggest fashion events of the year, with celebs and royalty showing us how to dress smartly in the summer heat. Classic, sophisticated suits were in for the gents this summer, whilst most of the women wore elegant floral dresses.
Two stand-out sunglasses styles for us were Pippa Middleton’s brown round frames, and George Panayiotou’s classic metal round Ray-Ban’s.
