Welcome to another B Sunglasses Round-up here at B Sunglasses. Every week, we do our best to find the latest sunglasses news stories and anything else related to eyewear fashion, sports, and technology. We also use our round-ups to tell readers about our newest collections, sales, and promotions. On last week’s round-up we talked about the eclipse that wowed (and slightly blinded) America. This week, we’re talking about our brand in the spotlight, Burberry, and we’re looking at the huge savings on our end-of-season sale, which ends tonight!
The biggest news this week is that the B Sunglasses end-of-season sale finishes at midnight tonight. We have an end-of-season sale this time every year, and it’s always a huge hit. It’s the perfect time to get that pair of designer sunglasses you had your eye on for significantly less than full price. You can find almost all our designer brands in our sale and the discounts range between 20–70% off the full price.
If you haven’t taken advantage of our end-of-season sale so far, then there’s no time to waste as the sale ends at midnight. Although we have sales at different points throughout the year, there’s nothing quite like our end-of-season sale. Brand in the Spotlight: Burberry
This week, we’re shining our spotlight on Burberry. You can read Eve’s longer, more-comprehensive brand spotlight here, but I’d like to include a smaller spotlight here as well. Burberry is one of the biggest fashion brands in the world and it is 100% British, and proud of it. Burberry has a very colourful history and it is one of the oldest designer fashion brands in the world. It was founded in 1856 in Basingstoke by Thomas Burberry. Burberry started out as an apprentice draper, where he learned his way around the textiles industry. But Burberry soon noticed that the middle and upper classes were looking for high-quality outdoor clothing for a range of activities, such as hunting, fishing, hiking, etc. Burberry began making stunning specialist outdoor clothing and his company became incredibly successful.
In 1891, the quality of Burberry’s wares was noticed by the then Minister of Defence and he was commissioned to design and make new uniforms for the British army. Famously, Burberry developed the Tielocken, which later became known as the trenchcoat. Throughout the 20th century, the Burberry brand produced designer outdoor clothing, but it also developed a more refined, fashionable style. The fashion revolution happened during the 60s and 70s, and Burburry changed with it. Today, it is one of the chicest fashion houses around and has recently been worn by the likes of Emma Stone and Cara Delevigne. We have a large range of Burberry sunglasses to choose between, so here are a few of our favourites to showcase the range of styles available:
Updated Delivery and Returns Service
Here at B Sunglasses, we’re always looking for ways to improve our service. And because we’re an online business, one of the best ways to streamline our service is to have a flexible, fast delivery service. So we’re really pleased to announce some positive changes to our delivery service. We now offer 24- and 48-hour tracked deliveries through the Royal Mail, both available at very competitive rates. We also offer a tracked Saturday delivery service through the Royal Mail that will prove significantly cheaper for customers than our previous Saturday delivery service. We want to get our products to you as soon as possible so that you can get out in the sun and have a good time. You can find out more about our delivery service here and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions for us.
We are also pleased to announce a change to our returns service incorporating Royal Mail’s innovative returns system that doesn’t even require you to print off the returns label. All you need is the QR code on your phone and a Royal Mail branch nearby and they can sort the rest. Taking the effort out of returns is an important part of any good sunglasses retailer because customers are going to have second thoughts sometimes, so it’s our job to make it easy and stress-free to get their money back or purchase a different pair instead.
That’s all the sunglasses news we have time for this week. Remember to check out our sale and to come back next week for another B Sunglasses Round-up.
