Welcome to another B Sunglasses Round-up here at B Sunglasses. Each week we find out the biggest sunglasses news stories and combine them with news about our new designer eyewear collections, competitions, bloggers features, and anything else we think our readers might be interested in. On last week’s round-up we talked about the new arrivals to our Gucci collection and the completely new Smith Optics range here at B Sunglasses. This week, we’re talking about the new Randolph sunglasses collection here at B Sunglasses and we’re looking at some of the top bloggers who have featured our sunglasses recently.
Welcome Randolph Engineering to B Sunglasses
There are few things as exciting in the B Sunglasses headquarters as welcoming a new brand to our wider designer collection. So we’re chuffed to announce the Randolph Engineering sunglasses range here at B Sunglasses. The Randolph Engineering Inc brand was founded in 1982 by Jan Waszkiewicz and his business partner Stanley Zaleski. Although originally from Poland, Waszkiewicz was a navigator in the Royal Air Force and he emigrated to America from Poland to pursue his dream to design and make sunglasses. The Randolph brand emphasizes its humble origins and that it was only able to flourish due to The American Dream. Randolph originally won a contract to produce sunglasses for the U.S Air Force, and its military aesthetic owes a lot to this contract as well as to Waszkiewicz’s experience as an RAF navigator. The brand still makes the U.S. Air Force’s sunglasses and it makes a huge variety of other sunglasses too.
Randolph’s aesthetic is tough and intrinsically American. There are a lot of varieties on the classic Aviator style as well as square and rectangular sunglasses. The colour palette mainly relies on metals, such as gold, silver, and gunmetal, and all of the models are made with the kind of quality and precision one might expect from the sunglasses suppliers for the largest air force in the world. Giorgio Armani’s Latest Collection Here at B Sunglasses
We try to shine a spotlight on a different designer brand each week. This week, Eve wrote an extensive spotlight all about Giorgio Armani that you can read here. However, I’d like to include a smaller spotlight here as well, for readers who just want the highlights.
Giorgio Armani was born in Italy and was the son of a shipping manager. He lived through WWII and has given away details of his tough upbringing in several interviews over the years. Armani studied medicine before he had to take up military service. And it was a small job as a window dresser in a department store whilst he was on leave from military service that allowed him to discover his flair for fashion. Armani’s talent was immediately recognised and he was asked to design men’s clothing for Hitman. Giorgio Armani started up his own brand in 1975 and the brand has been a huge name in the fashion industry ever since. The Armani name is famous for its refined, understated aesthetic.
The new Giorgio Armani’s sunglasses collection here at B Sunglasses illustrates the dark colour palette, refined sense of style, and sophisticated finish on Armani’s sunglasses. Browse the Giorgio Armani sunglasses page if you want to check out our entire collection – and here are a few of our favourites:
Blogger and Instagram Coverage
This year, we’ve had more coverage from top bloggers and Instagrammers than ever before. We try to take a moment every few weeks to take stock of who’s talking about our glasses and sunglasses. This week, top men’s fashion blogger Christian Bendek posted a photo of himself on Instagram exploring Brooklyn wearing a pair of our Saint Laurent Havana sunglasses.

Also this week, we were fortunate enough to have a pair of our Saint Laurent retro square sunglasses feature in an Instagram post by Jourdan Riane, the stunning model, actress, and blogger.
