Introducing: Oakley RADARPACE

Meet Your New Coach: The Oakley Radar Pace

Oakley are set to release sunglasses that will improve your workout dramatically… The Oakley Radar Pace.
Radar Pace is essentially a voice activated coaching system, designed to enhance your performance in a sporting scenario. It creates a training program, tracks your performance and coaches you in the moment. Powered by Intel, it’s like having a trainer with you whenever you’re running or cycling, a mentor that gives you the help and motivation you need to take performance to a whole new level.

So, what does the Oakley Radar Pace actually do?
Well it tracks:
Meaning it will Collect and analyse all of your personal performance data; Power Output, Heart Rate, Speed, Cadence, Distance, Time, etc.
It also coaches:
Creating a training program based on your goals, tracking your compliance, and calibrates based on your performance.
What’s more, the Radar Pace responds:
Powered by Intel, Radar Pace actually responds to your audible cues allowing you to communicate with the system in a more natural, less intrusive way. “Ok Radar, what’s my Speed?.”

The Radar Pace looks like similar to many of Oakley’s other high-end sport sunglasses with one key difference. There is an detachable ear piece, which grips onto to the sunglasses using a bendable arm. They also features three built-in microphones so you can ask for feedback throughout your workout and respond to questions about your performance.

All you need to do is sync the sunglasses with your smartphone or tablet and it will become the perfect fitness companion, encouraging you to go that extra distance or speed. The Pace system will offer updates on your speed and stride, along with ways to improve. As well as being available for you to ask it for information directly. When you’re ready to stop just say that you’re finished, and if you haven’t completed the planned workout the sunglasses will urge you to keep going!

Look for the Oakley Radar Pace sunglasses to release October 1st at B Sunglasses.
