Meryl Streep has been awarded the honorary Cecil B. deMille Award this year for her “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.” Over the years Meryl has been the winner of eight Golden Globes and has received 29 nominations. Her style is effortlessly sophisticated and her look in 2015 was no different as she donned a striking contrast black and white dress and a pair of sophisticated oval glasses. At the 2015 awards she received the award for Best Actress in a Drama Motion Picture for her role as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady.7

Lupita Nyong’o flew her way into the limelight after her incredibly heart-wrenching role in 12 Years a Slave. Her popularity soared further because of her impeccable style. At the 2015 Golden Globes she was nominated for her role in 12 Years a Slave but unfortunately lost out to Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle. However, she was beaming all night in her floral purple and white Giambattista Valli gown, perfectly contrasting with her skin tone to create a fresh and flawless finish.
Emma Stone’s been a Golden Globe nominee twice and this year we hope she has a win as she’s up for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Award for her role in La La Land. In 2015 Emma went modern and bedazzled in a Lanvin Jumpsuit featuring a striking embellished bodice and a huge bow at her waist. Her gorgeous red hair was loosely curled to complete her chic look.
Octavia Spencer received the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her moving role alongside Emma Stone in The Help. Her elegant, lavender, chiffon dress hugged her figure perfectly and was finished off with a delicate train.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum and her husband Channing Tatum rocked the Golden Globes of 2016. The power couple have been a source of inspiration for Hollywood couples since their romance blossomed from their role together in Step Up. Jenna pulled back hair accentuates the striking v neck of her jaw-dropping embellished gown.
Amy Adams wore a dusty blue single-shouldered Versace gown in perfect harmony with her red hair which she had pulled to one side. Amy is a two- time winner and in 2015 she won Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture for her role in Big Eyes. This year she’s nominated for Best Performance by and Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her role in Arrival and we can’t wait to see her red-carpet look.
From the front, Emma Watson looked beautiful. And as she turned camera flashes were going crazy because she looked red hot. Her backless flowing Dior dress was paired with a sleek pair of cropped trousers for a modern and striking finish.
