The New York Times review of the event describes the event as ‘Editors of fashion magazines and department store buyers have lately traveled through men’s fashion shows in London, Florence, Milan and Paris. The New York shows tend to have a looser, grittier feel than the often-extravagant runway exhibitions in Milan and Paris, and the people who attend seem more relaxed.’ – New York Times (2017)
Another notable name that looked great in the big apple was Boss, who showcased some unbelievably beautiful suits. The brand has had a strong couple of years of late and looks like it is going to keep pushing throughout 2017. Not to mention their latest collection of eyewear.

Steal the look

Our favourite moment of fashion week has to go down as the moment astronaut Buzz Aldrin walked down the runway. Adorning a Nick Graham designed ‘NASA’ bomber jacket, the 87 year old former man on the moon looked awesome.
Sometimes it’s more exciting to see what’s going on outside of the fashion shows. Some of the street style captured is always interesting. Fashion peacocks flaunt their latest get ups while eager fashion photographers capture them ‘on the phone’ while looking supremely cool, or weird? You decide. Cult favourite brand Vetements can always be seen somewhere, along with skate brand supreme mixed stylishly with luxury brands such as Gucci.
