Model Fran Summers wore a bright red bold number from Valentino, who’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli won Designer of the Year award 2018. Red is Valentino’s trademark colour and Piccioli’s latest collection worked to change people’s perception of the colour. In an interview with Vogue, Picciolo said he wants to take “a colour that sometimes feels super-powerful and strong” and make it “more romantic, more fragile, more poetic,” and this shines through in the soft ruffles of Fran Summers’s dress.
