Britain’s Got Talent Is Back

Britain’s Got Talent returns to our screens this weekend for its 10th series so we thought we would take this chance to look back at our favourite acts that have appeared on the show so far.

Stavros Flatley

Stavros Flatley star Demetrios Demetriou shot to fame in 2009 when he and his 14-year-old son Lagi took their comedy dance act on to Britain’s Got Talent, eventually going on to take 3rd place in the final. This act was so funny and you cannot watch them perform without laughing like a fool.

Jack Carroll

Jack Carroll, then aged 14, has Cerebal Palsy, which he used in his routine to have the judges and the crowd in hysterics with his stand-up comedy routine, in fact, he had everyone laughing even before he started.

Signature

Signature are English dance duo Suleman Mirza and Madhu Singh, they surprised the audience with their unexpected double act at their audition for season 2 back in 2009 when they mixed Michael Jackson and Bhangra.

The Highwaymen

The Highwaymen were seen on season 5 back in 2011, they wowed the crowd but the judges were not too sure and even removed their no vote to send them through, unfortunately because they were all active serving Marines they had to withdraw from the show to serve their country.

Spellbound

Spelbound are a gymnastic troupe who left the judges jaws on the floor at their audition for the fourth series, going on to win that season with their amazing displays.

Gay and Alan

Husband and Wife team Gay and Alan won over the crowd with their Bell Ringing when they played the theme song from Titanic, they even had the whole audience singing along with them.

Jesse-Jane McParland

Jesse-Jane McParland was a 9 year old girl from Ireland that you really would not mess with; she performed a spectacular Martial Arts routine that no one expected from such a sweet looking girl of 9.

Diversity

One of the most successful acts to appear on Britain’s Got Talent, they wowed the crowds back in 2009 when they appeared on series 3 which they went on to win with their incredible dance routines that mixed great music, sound effects and impressive moves.

So here are our favourite acts from the last 9 series of the show, we now cant wait to see what the 10th series has in store when it kicks off this weekend. Have we missed any acts out? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
